Newholme House

Great house for a group getaway or a big family break. Great location

I am sure this was a stately house at one time. But now it is in dire need of renewal…. All the furnishings, flooring, linens etc. there is a strong odor of mildew in parts of the house. the yard must have been spectacular at one time but it is in a sad state now. I would not recommend this property to anyone..

Newholme house was absolutely perfect for our multi-generational family of 14. The house was spacious and had everything we needed. We loved the beautiful garden and greenery surrounding the house and the large dining table that sat all of us. The rooms were all larger than I expected. Would definitely recommend.

The best house we have stayed in .. superb amenities. And so comfortable Positive: Loved everything about the house .. short walk into Stirling and local shop and pub.. House was so well equipped and comfortable. I brought some of my own kitchen utensils but never used them because they have thought of everything. Loved having the large dining room and 2 lounges to relax in. We had the best catch up weekend for our friends big birthday. Negative: Nothing .. everything was perfect

Newholme House met our needs perfectly. It provides homely, period charm with lots of space for a large group and the location is perfect for easy walks to parks and the Stirling Smith museum. The gardens need a little tlc but there are outside chairs to sit in while having a coffee listening to the bird song. Kitchen very well stocked for self-catering. Excellent hot powerful showers. Claire is a thoughtful, responsive host. Highly recommend.
